A Whoosy and Weepy Sunday

efsx2blogs are down this morning. Ah!

Anyways. Since I'm stumped for work, I'd might as well blog. Well we had a blast weekend with the kids. Well, actually Saturday was bordering boredom as we went searching for the Petting Zoo only to find out it's now nestled within the Sun-way Lagun and that've set us back at least RM150 for all of us. So, no go. MrGart had to work for the rest of the day.

Last Sunday the hectic-est Sundays ever for me.

1. 7:15am Pasar Tani for haiwans and dauns. At the ikan stall, I looked around while waiting for my fish to be cleaned and my trolley was MISSING! Dang! I had RM50 worth of pink, juicy batang pinang meat, ribs for soup and 1.5 chickens. Shucks! A mistake, I said to myself. 30 minutes and 6 trips up and down the lane later, I resigend to the fact that it's just gone. So I walked to get my dose of cappucino to soothe my nerve and there it was. Funnily enough, there was an elderly man who was fussing about his lost black trolley. Mine's a bright red. I told the shopkeeper what happened to me and asked about the trolley I thought was mine. True enough, it was mine. The meat, tulang and 1.5 chicken's intact. But I have an extra ikan dunno-its-name in there. There. Salvaged.

2. Tak masuk rumah lagi, the kids streamed out attacking me yelling "zoo", "sekarang", "pegi" and MrGart was still snoring from his 3am nighter. Nope nothing remotely interesting, just a footie match. Did you see Eduardo's stepped on broken foot! Yikes! So, there! To make up for the zoo-less Saturday, we were zoo-ed on Sunday. Less people, we had fun. Ariz touched a pony (and that's after a LOT of cajoling). So much for being a cowboy and all. Jaguh kampung! I said la! Tak baik!

3. Made durian puffs. Fooohh!! Sedap babe! Menjilat jari. Aku memang pecinta durian! *nyanyi ikut Irwahsyah*

4. MissKLSentral sms-ed about Big's grandmother's passing so we hooked up and went a-visiting. Brought a tupperware of the puffs remembering for Big's penchant for food and they were over even before the wifey came home. The 88-year old grandmother passed away in her sleep menjelang Subuh. Al-Fatihah. Semoga rohnya dicucuri RahmatNya.

5. Had MissKLSentral dropped me over where MrGart was playing kites with the kids. me and my baju kurung. Oh sungguh menawan. (not!).

6. A neighbour's phonecall informed us of our neighbours Kak Ros & Bukhari and their 8-yo daughter, Suraya who were involved in a car crash just before the BJ NKVE exit about 2pm. Apparently the father might have dozed off and veered towards the divider causing the car to overturned. At 9pm, we were at eS-eMC. Kak Ros was lying on the bed awaiting surgery, finger awkwardsly dislocated and twisted and hair all streaked in blood. There a gash on her forehead and her face was swollen and bloody. Her broken nose was stuffed with dried blood. She has glass wounds all over her foot from crwaling out of the car in glass.

Bukhari meanwhile was having chest pains from the seat belt and was dizzy, but nothing serious. Suraya was in surgery. She has a deep gash on her thigh or leg and various cuts on her body. While the parents were wearing seatbelts in front, she was not belted at the back and she suffered the most. When theire eldest daughter, Along (who's on housemanship) came in to tell that while in surgery, Suraya's leg was also broken, both parents wept, silent tears. It was so heart-rending. To think that a child that young had to suffer so much more than the parents. It's just cruel. Kak Ros whispered to me that she wished she could take away Suraya's pain for her. I wept.

It's just so sad, actually. These are very very nice, respectable members of our society and to have this happened to me, it's just fate. I guess. Kak Ros, like most mothers seemed to hang on much better than the husband. She's focussing on her daughter and that's what we most likely would do too. The husband was a mess, the guilt is just over-bearingly heavy on him. Reda we said. Ada hikmahnya. Alhamdulillah semuanya selamat. Insyallah.

So, that was how my weekend went. Did I say it was hectic?

*Cringe*

Must be a hectic weekend for you!

to have our children suffered the most is something unbearable. Hopefully, they will endure this test and insyaAllah something much better will turn out after this.

Saya sudah agak fed up dengan ee-ef-ex-two

OO .. exactly how I feel .. we sometiems take things for granted .. just like this morning, I was passing thru the Smartag lane and this guys who wears the tollgate collector uniform was crossing and he has imperfect legs. That brought tears to my eyes, cos I felt so kerdil and kurang bersyukur, sedangkan ada orangh lain yang lebih teruk from me.

psst .. saya sungguh bohsan juga.
